🚀 New: Zetpy now supports Shopee Direct Shop!

We’ve officially added support for Shopee Direct Shops (Singapore, Philippines, & Thailand) to your Zetpy dashboard! Now included in all plans at no extra cost.

How does it benefits your business?

  1. Seamless Stock Sync: Keep inventory perfectly aligned across all borders.

  2. Unified Order Processing: Manage international orders (SG, PH and TH) alongside local channels.

  3. Real-Time Reporting: Track cross-border performance at local currency (SGD, PHP and THB) with ease.

📢 Important Lazada Update: Buyer Data Masking (Effective 1 July 2026)

Starting 1 July 2026, Lazada Open Platform will encrypt & mask buyer personal info in order data pulled via its APIs.

What gets masked?
👤 Buyer name
📞 Phone number
📍 Delivery address

Quick Takeaways for Zetpy Users:
No Action Needed: Our engineering team is handling everything on the backend. However, you will notice that new Lazada order records synced to the Zetpy Inventory Platform will reflect this masked format.

🚚 DBS Exception: If you use Delivery by Seller for bulky items, you can apply for an unmasking exemption on the Lazada Open Platform.

This follows the same path Shopee, TikTok Shop and Shopify already took – a broader industry move toward stronger consumer data protection.

🛒 Zetpy & Shopify: Understanding Your Sync Options

Did you know there are two distinct ways to integrate Shopify with your Zetpy account? Because every business manages their inventory and orders differently, we’ve published a new post to help you understand the core differences between these two setups.

  1. Zetpy’s Shopify Sync: This method uses Zetpy as your command center, allowing you to manage products and marketplace listings independently of your Shopify dashboard. It’s built for those who need a dedicated hub to orchestrate sales and inventory across multiple platforms like Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop simultaneously.

  2. Zetpy’s Shopify As Master: This method treats Shopify as your “single source of truth.” By making Shopify the master, any adjustments you make to your inventory or product details are automatically pushed from your Shopify dashboard out to your connected marketplaces, keeping your current workflow as the primary driver of your operations.

If you’re using Shopify and looking to optimize how your inventory and order syncs between your store and your marketplaces, we’ve broken down everything you need to know in our latest guide.

TikTok Shop Malaysia Introduces New Platform Support Fee Starting Feb 15, 2026

If you are selling on TikTok Shop Malaysia, there is an important update regarding your store’s fee structure. To ensure your business remains profitable and your operations stay smooth, here is everything you need to know about the new Platform Support Fee.

What is the Platform Support Fee?

Starting from 15 February 2026 (00:00 GMT+8), TikTok Shop Malaysia will introduce a fixed Platform Support Fee of RM0.50 (RM0.54 inclusive of 8% SST) for every successfully delivered order.

Unlike the commission fee, which is percentage-based, this is a flat fee per order, regardless of how many items are in the parcel or the total value of the order.

Here is an example given by TikTok Shop.

Why is TikTok Shop doing this?

According to TikTok Shop Academy, this fee is part of a broader strategy to reinvest into the ecosystem. The funds will be used to improve:

– Seller Center Tools: Better features for managing your shop.

– Logistics & Infrastructure: Faster and more reliable shipping.

– User Experience: Driving more traffic and better buyer protection to increase your conversion rates.

What You Can Do in Zetpy

To stay ahead of these changes, use Zetpy’s powerful automation tools to manage your margins and simplify your bookkeeping:

– Bulk Update Your Prices: A flat fee of RM0.54 per order can eat into margins, especially for low-priced items. Use Zetpy’s TikTok Shop Bulk Price Edit feature to adjust your prices across your entire catalog in just a few clicks.

– Create Profitable Bundles: Since the fee is charged per order (not per item), bundling products is a smart move. Use Zetpy Product Bundles to create attractive combinations that encourage larger cart sizes, effectively spreading the flat fee across multiple items.

– Monitor Real-Time Inventory: With TikTok’s increased investment in traffic, expect more orders! Use Zetpy to sync your stock across TikTok Shop, Shopee, and Lazada in real-time to avoid overselling and maintain a high seller rating.

Are there any exemptions?

The good news is that TikTok Shop is offering exemptions to support new sellers and SMEs. You might not have to pay this fee if you fall into these categories:

  1. New Marketplace Sellers: You are exempted for the first 120 days after your first product listing.

  2. SME/Small Sellers: You are exempted if, in the previous 30-day assessment period, you had:

    • 100 or fewer completed orders; OR

    • Between 101 to 200 orders with a total GMV of not more than RM3,000.

  3. Essential Categories: Orders containing items like Bakery Ingredients, Fresh & Frozen food, Groceries, and certain Textbooks are exempted.

Key Dates to Remember

  • Assessment Period: Evaluation happens on the 16th of every month.

  • Implementation Date: 15 February 2026.

This maintenance is part of our ongoing infrastructure upgrade and includes:

1. Enhanced Security & Compliance We are upgrading our operating system to a fully supported version to ensure continued security updates and long-term reliability.

2. Improved Performance & Stability Our platform will be running on a newer PHP version, enabling faster processing, better stability, and improved compatibility with modern technologies.

3. Infrastructure Upgrade We are migrating to a newer generation server instance, designed to deliver better performance and higher resilience.

What to Expect: During this time, the Zetpy dashboard will be inaccessible, and order/inventory syncing will be temporarily paused. Services will resume automatically once the maintenance is complete.

These upgrades help us maintain Zetpy’s reliability as we scale and ensure we continue to meet the growing demands of omnichannel businesses.

We appreciate your patience and support as we invest in strengthening our platform for the long term. If you have any questions or require assistance, our support team is always happy to help.

Thank you for growing with Zetpy. 💙
