Shopee Marketplace Commission Update: Effective 1 February 2026

To our valued Zetpy sellers, we want to keep you informed about the latest platform updates to ensure your business operations run smoothly.

Shopee Malaysia has released an important announcement regarding revisions to the Marketplace Commission Fees, which will be effective starting 1 February 2026. Staying ahead of these changes is key to maintaining a healthy and sustainable e-commerce business.

Key Updates

As part of the platform’s periodic reviews, the commission structure for local Marketplace sellers (Non-Shopee Mall) is being adjusted.

  • Effective Date: 1 February 2026

  • The Update: A revision in the commission percentage for successful orders.

  • Details: The specific percentage varies depending on your product category (e.g., Fashion, Electronics, Lifestyle).

We encourage all sellers to review the official Shopee Seller Education Article to see the specific rates applicable to your shop’s categories.

Optimizing Your Strategy

Updates to fee structures are a natural part of the dynamic e-commerce landscape. This is a great opportunity to audit your current product listings and pricing strategies.

Reviewing your cost structure ensures that you continue to offer great value to your customers while maintaining the margins necessary to grow your business and invest in marketing or new inventory.
